Psychologists from Georgia University find out that children who were diagnosed having Stethalgia; they had levels of Anxiety and depression ; more than who has innocent heart murmurs, that is the sound or confusion caused by blood flow in a healthy structured heart.

Jennifer Lee, the researcher in Georgia University, pointed that what they found of Levels of Psychological symptoms increases with children who have Thoracalgia not caused by heart disease, this reflects that these symptoms have a role in gaining these pains.
According to the study results; there is clear statistic increase in symptoms of Anxiety and Depression with those who were diagnosed having the mentioned Thoracalgia; comparing with those who were diagnosed as having Non-harmful cardiac puffs .
Lee mentioned that they didn’t know if this Thoracalgia caused the Anxiety or the opposite; with who participated in the study.

Ronald Blount, Psychological Professor at Franklin College, and one of the researchers who participated in the study added that:
“ALTHOUGH THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SYMPTOMS ARE NOT SO SEVERE TO GET A CLINICAL DIAGNOSES , BUT THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO GROUPS WERE STATICALLY CLEAR.”
The study includes 129 patients whose age between 8-18 years participated in the study; they replayed the pre-questionnaire; in the same atmosphere, where they wait to know their diagnoses in the Department of Cardiology .
Professor Blount sad that:
“THIS STUDY HIGHLIGHTED THE ROLE OF MENTAL STATUS IN THORACALGIA ”.
The study also found that participate children who have Thoracalgia; has higher levels of functional disability ; that means the ability of doing daily activities, such as Running in the football square; or spending their daytime without nap, comparing the second group.
Moreover, they spend less time in the school, and can’t practice the additional school activities; comparing the other group.
Lee added that:
“THESE CHILDREN MENTIONED THAT THEY HAD PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS WITH UNCLEAR REASONS, SUCH AS GASTROENTEROPATHY AND HEADACHE.”
She also pointed that these symptoms may be Psychological manifestations of what they experience of Psychological stress; sometimes brain doesn’t report the Psychological Stress; and that lead the body to express that by revealing these symptoms and others that are a psychological origin.
Professor Blount stated that:
“MENTAL STATUS IS HIGHLY CONNECTED WITH PAIN. ALTHOUGH PAIN IS CONSIDERED A SENSORY EXPERIENCE, THE PSYCHOLOGICAL STATUS AFFECTS THE VALIDATION OF THIS EXPERIENCE.”

1 –you should be drinking lots of water
